The lives of children and young people are now more than ever permeated by all kinds of media. Protecting against negative influences from media on the development of children and young people requires special commitment.
As a media service provider, this responsibility is particularly important to us. Ensuring a high level of youth protection is part of our daily work as a provider of television programs and video on-demand services for people in Austria. The requirements of youth protection are incorporated into the design of our content just as naturally as they are part of our other design work.
Together with other media service providers in Austria, we want to ensure a high and as uniform level of protection as possible.
We therefore declare that we will comply with the industry-wide youth media protection guidelines of conduct developed for this purpose by the “Association for Self-Regulation of Audiovisual Media Offers for the Protection of Minors” (ZVR number: 1686796152) in their current form (§ 39 Para. 4 AMD-G We also declare that we accept the association's rules of procedure and complaints system (§ 32a KOG).
